Hi, my name is Bertha. I used to live in an outdoor colony that had caretakers that watched out for us and they brought us in for TNR. It was a good thing, because I had a bad leg deformity that couldn't be fixed without removing one of my front legs. Thankful Carol's Ferals was able to pay for the surgery and since I turned out to be a nice girl once the pain was gone, Carol said I should stay at the facility and find a nice indoor home. I am a mellow, laid-back girl who gets around just fine on three legs. I am friendly and somewhat outgoing, but a very loud or overly busy house might be too much for me. I don't mind other cats as long as I have time to adjust, but a dog might not be a good idea unless it's a low-energy dog that won't chase me around. I don't need much in the way of special arrangements to compensate for my disability; my new home should be mindful that a very tall cat tree or place to climb might not be the best idea because I have a harder time landing than other cats.
